VSU to organise Youth Fest on Nov 29-30
The Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) will be organising Inter–College Youth Festival 2019 (ICYF) on Nov 29 and 30.
Nellore: The Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) will be organising Inter–College Youth Festival 2019 (ICYF) on Nov 29 and 30. Vice-Chancellor Prof R Sudarshan Rao said that they are conducting the event as per the guidelines of the Association of Indian Universities. VSU did not hold the festival earlier.
Rao's Degree and PG College, Nellore has come forward to host the two–day festival. Competitions will be organised in 22 events like dance, music, and theatre arts for participants from affiliated and constituent colleges of the varsity. The winners can participate in South-Zone Youth Festival (SZYF) scheduled to be held at Allagappa University, Karaikudi Tamil Nadu from Dec 18 to 22 this year.
The winners of South Zone Youth Festival are eligible to participate at the National Youth Festival (NYF) 2020 to be conducted at Amity University, Noida from Feb 3 to 7 next year. All the college Principals and Correspondents were requested to motivate their students to participate in the Youth Festival for making it a success, he said.
