Vizag: Devotees find it hard to find snake-pits on Nagula Chavithi due to rains

Visakhapatnam: After a long search, a group of devotees finally finds a snake-pit near a railway track to offer prayers on Nagula Chavithi that falls on the fourth day after Diwali.

Sachets of milk, fresh flowers, eggs and specially made sweets were offered to Lord Nagendra by the devout who had a tough time in spotting an anthill in the neighbourhoods.

Recent rains that lashed the coastal region and rise in construction works attribute to the dwindling numbers of snake-pits across the city.
