The government of Andhra Pradesh has refused permission for TDP chief Chandrababu's fast.
The government of Andhra Pradesh has refused permission for TDP chief Chandrababu's fast. Chandrababu has announced that he will initiate a function at the Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada on the 14th of this month demanding that the problems of the construction workers to be addressed. The city police and municipal commissioners have been asked by the TDP to allow the fast at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium. However, the authorities refused permission. The officials said that no other program is allowed here except for government programs.
TDP leaders say Chandrababu will hold fast even if the police had not permitted them. On the other hand, TDP leaders are looking for another venue.
Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who is in Chittoor district to hold a review meeting with party cadre is planned to hold a Deeksha in Vijayawada in protest to the sand shortage that is being the biggest problem for last month.
