Vijayawada: The Department of Computer Sceince Engineering of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) has been organising an extension programme with a motto 'Forming men and women for others' to create awareness on 'Advanced Information Technologies' which has become the world`s most trending topic in the current scenario.

Speaking on the occasion, director Rev Father Dr A Francis Xavier said that it was a perfect platform where the students would acquire knowledge on concepts like Java script, Web designing, Database etc which will help the students in future.

Principal Dr O Mahesh said that taking part in such events will be helpful for the students to enhance their technical skills as well as for their overall development.

The extension programme is being conducted for one week from December 2 to 7 at Industrial Training Institute (ITI Road, Siddhartha Nagar) by II, III and IV year CSE students.

Assistant Directors Rev Father Chiranjivi and Rev Father Anand, Dr A Srinivasa Rao Head of the CSE department, ALIET, A Rajesh, Extension Program Coordinator, Y Rajesh, Asst Professor, CSE, ALIET and students of ITI and ALIIET participated in the programme.
