Vijayawada: An unidentified body of a woman, 35, was found in fields at Komaravolu village on Gudivada-Pamarru highway on Saturday. It is suspected that she was strangled to death.
On receiving information through phone, the Pamarru police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Gudivada Government Hospital for postmortem.
Sub-Inspector Md Habib Basha said that a married woman body was found in the fields of Komaravolu village.
The posture the body on the fields appears to be a murder. They reached the spot and recovered the body and shifted it to government hospital Gudivada for postmortem, he said. A case was registered.
