Amaravati: The two days collectors conference is commencing by 10 am today. In the agenda of the conference, there is no schedule for discussion on Amaravati and Polavaram projects.

Amaravati has to be discussed under the Municipal Administration & Urban Development or CRDA and Polavaram is subject matter in the Water Resources department. But, in the two days collectors conference, scheduled today and tomorrow by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, there is no mention of these two departments or specific subjects.

Chief minister mainly focused only on grounding Navaratnas and maintaining law and order.

In the first day, he will review on welfare driven programmes and in the second day of the conference chief minister will look into law and order issues.

Though, initially the conference is scheduled for one day at secretariat, it is changed subsequently. Both location and duration of the conference changed. The location shifted from secretariat at Velagapudi to Praja Vedika at Undavalli and the time extended to second day.

Chief minister will deliver keynote address at 10.30 am. Before that Finance Minister Buggana, Rajendranath will present the financial position of the state and Deputy Chief Minister (revenue) Pilli Subash Chandra Bose will give introductory remarks.
