After the 2 and half months of continuous lockdown, the TTD officials have started allowing the devotees to Tirumala to visit Lord Balaji. It seemed everything is going smoothly. But all of a sudden 10 temple staff tested positive for Covid-19.

This news is spread all over which became a concern for the TTD officials. Well, they decided to call for a meeting on Sunday to discuss the necessary measures to be taken.

Even the Chittoor district collector Bharat Gupta responded on this issue and doled out that, Covid-19 is not spread on the shrine by the devotees. As devotes are entering the shrine through Alipiri way, officials are taking random samples from them and are sent to the lab for testing.

He also announced that, till now 400 TTD employees are tested for Covid-19 out of which 10 members resulted positive.
