Transco AE, line man in ACBs Net in Vizianagaram

Badangi (Vizianagaram): An assistant engineer and a line man of AP TRANSCO were caught by ACB sleutels while accepting bribe from a farmer to provide agriculture connection to his well.

DSP of ACB informed that Gotivada RamaRao, Asst Engineer, APEPDCL, Therlam of Vizianagaram Dist was trapped at his office room, Therlam, when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs.10,000 as a bribe from Maradana Ramana for doing official favour to release Electric Connection to the Agrl well of the complainant's land.

AE had received the amount and handed over to M V Satyanarayana, Lineman, APEPDCL.Mean while the both were arrested and the cash was seized.
