Tirupati: The annual Pushpayagam was held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Saturday.
This fete is usually performed as a sin-free festival to the omissions and commissions committed either knowingly or unknowingly by religious staff, employees and devotees during annual Brahmotsavams.
It may be mentioned that the annual Brahmotsavams took place at the temple between May 28 and June 5.
The deities were seated on a special platform and floral fete was performed between 3 pm and 5 pm with tonnes of traditional flowers. The entire ritual was performed by chief priest Srinivasa Dikshitulu.
