Tirumala: Pilgrims complimented the TTD for the conduct of the religious programmes including Veda Parayanam, Dhanwantari Maha Mantra Parayanam etc. which the TTD held during the closure of Lord Venkatswara shrine for darshan due to lockdown.
The Dial Your EO programme was held after a gap of four months due to Corona lockdown restrictions, on Sunday at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on trial-basis instead of first Friday.
During this programme, 14 callers had interacted with TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal to give their feedback on various issues.
Callers Sastry, Ramalingeswara Rao from Tanuku,Manohar from Tirupati lauded TTD efforts in arranging Vedaparayanam at NaadaNeerajanam vedika in Tirumala. They urged TTD to continue the programme permanently.
Thanking the callers, TTD EO said, TTD has been organising several Homams and Parayanams since March. "We have conducted Dhanwantari Homam, Japa Yagnam, Yoga Vasishtyam in the last two months and now commenced Sundara Kanda Pathanam seeking the divine blessings to overcome the ongoing corona crisis across the world.''
Responding to the callers from various, he said now the devotees are having pleasant darshan without the push and pull as only just 500 pilgrims per hour being allowed as against 5000 earlier.
EO also assured to consider online allotment of rooms of higher tariff Rs 1000 and above in Tirumala.Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy, EO P Basant Kumar and other officials were present.
