A fatal road accident took place in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh where a car went out of control and hit the divider at P. Kothakota, Puthalapattu mandal

In a gory incident, three Karnataka cops including one SI and two constables died on the spot at the P Kothakota flyover on Naidupeta Puthalapattu national highway.

The incident was happened at early hours of Sunday.

The deceased were identified as SI Avinash, constable Anil and driver Raju.

Grievously injured police personnel including SI and two more constables were shifted to Chittoor and letter devar shifted to CMC hospital in Vellore for better treatment.

Chittoor SP Rishanth Reddy after knowing the incident rushed to the spot and got the stock of the incident.

The three bodies were sent to Chittoor government hospital for postmortem after registering a case at P Kothakota police station.

According to police, two SIs and four constables including driver came to AP from Karnataka on some investigation.

The incident was happened when they were returning to their home.

After the vehicle's driver losing control over the vehicle, the vehicle hit to a retaining wall of the flyover and fell down from about 30 feet height.

SP Rishanth Reddy said they were already inform to Karnataka police about the incident.
