TDP urges Govt to strengthen medical facilities across the State
In the wake of crossing the number of cases 14500 in AP, the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu urged the State government to improve the medical facilities across the thirteen districts, on Tuesday in a statement.
Amaravati: In the wake of crossing the number of cases 14500 in AP, the TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu urged the State government to improve the medical facilities across the thirteen districts, on Tuesday in a statement. He condemned the complacent attitude of the YSRCP Government with regard to Coronavirus preventive measures, during an online meeting with the party elected leaders.
The TDP alleged that the virus infections went up by 400 per cent in the past five weeks even as the epidemic was threatening to spread at a faster rate. At such a juncture, instead of creating required awareness, the Chief Minister, Ministers and MLAs themselves were not wearing masks, Chandrababu Naidu criticised.
He lambasted the government that, there were no facilities for necessary beds and ventilators in hospitals. Even now, the doctors were not being given PPE protection kits, he blamed.
The TDP supremo criticised that the Government was covering up its failures by making false claims that it has conducted COVID tests on lakhs and crores of people. A lot of confusion was being created among the people. The Government's negligence was visible in many incidents. For instance, the doctors at the ENT Hospital in Visakhapatnam held a protest demanding PPE kits. The government ill-treated and humiliated the doctors in the State, he alleged.
