The TDP four rebel Rajya Sabha MP's Y Sujana Chowdary, TG Venkatesh, CM Ramesh, and Garikapati Mohan Rao have resigned to the party and submitted their resignation letter to Vice-President and Rajya Sabha chairman M Venkaiah Naidu in Delhi on Thursday.

New Delhi: The TDP four rebel Rajya Sabha MP's Y Sujana Chowdary, TG Venkatesh, CM Ramesh, and Garikapati Mohan Rao have resigned to the party and submitted their resignation letter to Vice-President and Rajya Sabha chairman M Venkaiah Naidu in Delhi on Thursday.

After meeting the Rajya Sabha chairman, MP's Y Sujana Chowdary, TG Venkatesh, CM Ramesh have joined BJP in presence of the party Working President JP Nadda. Another MP Garikapati Mohan Rao will be joining later as he is unwell.

The MP's passed a resolution to merge Legislature Party of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) with BJP.

The resolution letter states as The Legislature Party of Telugu Desam in Rajya Sabha met today under the leadership of Legislature Party's leader YS Chowdary and Legislature party's Deputy leader CM Ramesh.

Inspired and encouraged by the impeccable leadership of Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the development policies being pursued by him in the overall interest of the nation. We have decided to merge with the BJP with immediate effect under Paragraph 4 of the Tenth Schedule to the Constitution of India.



After considering deliberations thereafter, it has been resolved

1. To merge the Legislature Party of TDP with BJP with immediate effect under Paragraph 4 of the Tenth Schedule to the Constitution of India.

2. To write to the President of BJP to accept the merge and convey his acceptance through a resolution to the Hon'ble Chairman of Rajya Sabha and

3. To write to Hon'ble chairman requesting him to all the merge under Paragraph 4 of the Tenth Schedule to the Constitution of India and treat us as part of the BJP Legislature Party.
