TDP leaders join YSRCP in Visakhapatnam
The amidst od the civic body polls in the state, several leaders from other parties are joining the ruling YSR Congress Party
Visakhapatnam: The amidst od the civic body polls in the state, several leaders from other parties are joining the ruling YSR Congress Party over the welfare programmes implemented by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Recently, TDP leaders and activists from North Visakhapatnam constituency has joined YSRCP in the presence of Raja Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy, State Minister Kannababu, MP MVV Satyanarayana.
This include, former TDP MLA Gurumurthy Reddy, former Corporator PLSN Prasad, TSN Murthy, and Rajaka Sangam North president Satyanarayana joined YSRCP. MP Vijayasai Reddy welcomed the leaders by facilitating them with party shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Vijayasai Reddy expressed confidence that YSRCP will win in the coming GVMC elections and assured that Vizag would be developed from all the angles.
He said that with the decision of making Vizag as Executive Capital, all North Andhra districts would also get developed, which is the motto of CM YS Jagan.
Visakhapatnam will be developed as a tourist destination in the state. The metro rail project from Visakha to Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district will be launched soon, he said.
He also noted that drinking water pipeline work from Purushothapatnam to Visakhapatnam would also be initiated shortly.
The Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu said that CM YS Jagan is given ideal governance by implementing Eluru declaration which is aimed for the upliftment of BC communities.
