TDP demands probe into land scams of in YSRCP govt, passes a resolution
During the Mahanadu second day, the TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh lambasted the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy
Amaravati: During the Mahanadu second day, the TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh lambasted the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that the later indulged in land scam, sand scam, liquor scam and resorted to collect J Tax and JST. Lokesh said that while the people across the country have been paying Goods and Services Tax, all sections of the public forced to pay Jagan Tax (J Tax) and Jagan Service Tax (JST).
Speaking on a resolution "Illegal occupation of lands by YSRCP leaders – J Tax and Jail Life of Jagan", the TDP leaders levelled serious allegations on the one year ruling of YSRCP government.
The TDP accused that, "YSRCP MP V Vijayasai Reddy planned to occupy Rs 1000 cr worth 31 acr land at Siripuram in Vizag. Since the land is in a court dispute, he was planning to take this land into his possession. He also has eyes on 5 acr valuable lands of Dasapalla in Vizag. Another Rs 300 Cr worth lands at Venkozipalem Asramam in Vizag city were also under the lens of YSRCP leaders. The Karteekavanam project was occupied by a YSRCP leader in Vizag, which has around Rs 200 cr worth. A team of YSRCP leaders threatened an industrialist in Vizag and demanded a ransom of Rs 100 cr."
It further revealed in its resolution that, the YSRCP leaders threatened the landowners and took possession illegally at various places across the State.
Jagan already looted at least Rs 1 lakh cr when his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy was CM and still, 11 charge sheets are in pending against him. Even then, there was no change in his attitude, criticised Lokesh.
He further added that Jagan did not leave any sector from his corrupt practices. The TDP leaders said that land, sand, wine, mine and everything under the J-Tax. Without paying J Tax, no company would get a chance to sell their wine products in the State. They even threatened the industrialists to pay money.
