Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) assistant dean Dr N Uday Bhaskar has advised the students to study with commitment and dedication to achieve their goal. Addressing the students on the first day of the commencement of classes at Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) here on Thursday, he said it is the time for the students to mould their lives.
There are abundant opportunities available in various sectors and the students should fix themselves to compete with others to get the jobs. It is the duty of the students to make their parents happy by elevating themselves up to their aspirations. The parents should also own responsibility for the growth of the children and watch them how they are studying.
GIET managing director K Sasi Kiran Varma said the college is not compromising in providing quality teaching and the management also directing the faculty to update themselves to teach lessons with latest methods. GIET is achieving good results in all examinations from its inception and giving best education to the students.
He appealed to the parents to inculcate the habit of reading among their children which is the need of the hour.GIET general manager Dr Subba Raju and principal Valli and others were present.
