Tirupati : As a part of the ongoing Srinivasa Kalyanams in the United States, the divine wedding ceremony was held at Seattle, during the early hours of Tuesday as per Indian Standard Time (IST) amidst religious fervour.
Scores of NRI devotees participated in the grand spiritual event. The entire premises reverberated to the rhythmic rendition of Vedic mantras chanted by the priests while solemnising the divine wedding of Lord with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi.
A series of rituals that were performed in a traditional Hindu marriage ceremony, including Punyahavachanam, Viswaksena Aradhana, Ankurarpana, Maha Sankalpam, Kanyadanam, Mangalyadharana, Varana Mayiram and Harati were rendered in a splendid manner amidst chanting of mantras by the priests, adding more to the spiritual ambience.
