The peer team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) visited the Institution from December 27 to 29 to evaluate quality related parameters. Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof D Jamuna said, "I am very happy that the university has been elevated from NAAC A grade to A+ grade. It has emerged as an institution of distinction in curricular reforms, research, innovation, extension, best practices and institutional distinctiveness.
