Special drive to fill vacancies in Police Department: Home Minister Sucharita
AP Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has announced that 333 candidates have been selected in the written examination which was conducted to fill the vacancies in the police department.
Amaravati: AP Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has announced that 333 candidates have been selected in the written examination which was conducted to fill the vacancies in the police department.
A total of 1,35,414 candidates have applied for these vacant posts. AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has released the results of Sub Inspector on Monday. After which, the CM and Home Minister has congratulated the candidates who have qualified in the exams.
On the occasion, Home Minister said a special drive would be conducted to fill the vacancies in the Police Department. She said more 17 percent vacancies in various categories in the police department has to be recruited.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Mekathoti Sucharita has said that 32,745 candidates have qualified in the preliminary and physical fitness test. In the final written exam, 333 candidates have selected.
In which, 149 are Sub Inspector Civil, 75 are Reserve Sub Inspector of Police, 75 Reserve Sub Inspector of Police (AP Special Police), 10 Deputy Jailer (Male), 4 Deputy Jailer (Women), 20 Station Fire Officers.
In the written exam, Paruchuri Mahesh (Nellore), Sheikh Hussain Peera (Kadapa) and Palem Ravi Kishore (Kadapa) scored 255 marks and stood as the toppers and in the women category, Vishwanathpalli Pragna of Krishna district stood as the top topper with 224 marks.
