SIT will reveal facts behind land pooling in Amaravati

Vizianagaram: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana advised the former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to think twice before deliberately slinging mud on the government.

Speaking to the media, the Minister said the people knew the truth. "Our intention is not to fix the TDP leaders and foist false cases on them. The investigation is intended to find out fact in regarding to land pooling scheme in Amaravati," he asserted.

He pointed out that there were malpractices. He recalled that the TDP leaders, including Naidu, had demanded CBI investigation into the alleged malpractices.

The government, he said, had constituted special investigation team to go into the land pooling scandal. The investigation would reveal the facts, he said. He wondered why Naidu was raising hue and cry.

The Minister described the charge that the government was targeting the former Ministers, who belonged to Backward communities. He asked the Opposition leaders to clarify whether they were above the law.
