The YSRCP leaders have been taking a dig at the election commissioner stating him to be Chandrababu's man who is resorting to political activities.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh speaker Tammineni Sitaram has said that the state election commission (SEC) has crossed its limits by announcing the postponement of elections for local bodies. In a press conference at Srikakulam on Monday AP Legislative assembly speaker, Thammineni Sitaram expressed serious concern as individuals degrading the values of constitutional systems. "These systems are being influenced by the individuals, " he asserted.
SEC postponed election in the wake of Coronavirus under the influence of 'Kammona' virus. The speaker demanded intervention of governor on the unilateral decision taken by SEC on the postponement of elections. Meanwhile, the state election commissioner Ramesh Kumar has met with governor Biswabhushan Harichandan to brief the circumstances that led to the postponement of the elections.
