Leading journalist Rajdeep Sardesai has praised the Andhra Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for bringing new 108 and 104 ambulance services in the state to help the people in difficult times.
Leading journalist Rajdeep Sardesai has praised the Andhra Pradesh government headed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for bringing new 108 and 104 ambulance services in the state to help the people in difficult times. He tweeted this on Wednesday and said that the southern states were at the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus.
Sardesai added that the newly opened 1088 ambulances would be inspected at every home in the state. These are linked to local health centers and doctors. Hopefully, the rest of the states will take the same route, taking the AP as an ideal.
Earlier, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy flagged off the inauguration of 1068 ambulances at the Benz circle junction on Wednesday morning. All the vehicles immediately started journey towards their respective districts. Ministers, MLAs and official attended the inauguration event. The 108 ambulance vehicles will attend the emergency cases particularly the accidents, disasters and serious ailments. A total of 748 ambulances (108 services) were inaugurated. Of the total, 705 vehicles will be allocated for both rural and urban areas. A total of 26 vehicles exclusively allocated for neonatal services and 19 ambulances will be kept on reserve.
The government has purchased 412 new ambulances and 336 ambulances are already in the use. CM also to inaugurate Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) (104 services), which have many facilities. The Mobile Medical Unit staff will visit one village secretariat every day. These ambulances will also cover anganwadi schools, government schools and houses in the villages.
On the other hand, the YSRCP government has got all the appreciation from all quarters. Rajdeep Sardesai tweeted to this extent.
