Rajamahendravaram (East Godavari district) : The organisers always take the lead in extending warm hospitality to the delegates in Mahanadu, which is like a big festival for the cadres of the TDP.

Godavari districts are also famous for their good reception and hospitality. Especially in the case of the preparation of various dishes, due care is taken in serving them with affection.

In this Mahanadu too, the delegates were given a taste of the Godavari region’s cuisines. For the past 12 years, Vijayawada Ambika Catering and Events has been taking up catering services for any event of TDP like Mahanadu, party meetings, Iftar dinners, etc.

On the occasion, the representative of Ambika Catering, Kilari Shivaji said that they were taking part in this year’s Mahanadu with 1,500 workers. Dishes are being prepared and served in Rajamahendravaram.

He said that preference has been given to delicious local dishes.

Mudda Pappu, Gutti Vankaya Curry, Bendakaya Iguru, Guntur Gongura Chutney, Tapeswaram Kaja, Kakinada Kaja, Apple Halwa, Rasam, Sambaru, Majjiga Charu, Buttermilk, Ice Cream are on the menu on Saturday.

The representatives of the food committee said that they had estimated about 20,000 people would attend the event on the first day, but food was cooked for about 60,000 people.

Keeping in mind the summer heat, 20 lakh water packets, water bottles, 20 lakh buttermilk packets, and 80,000 ice creams have also been made available.
