Rajamahendravaram: Intermediate examinations commenced in the district here on Wednesday. The examinations were held at 337 examination centres arranged in private and government educational institutions.

As many as 1,06,929 students appeared for the examinations. One flying squad and five sitting squads were arranged for 20 examination centres and 28 invigilators to each examination centre.

Principals and lecturers of the respective colleges were shifted to other areas in connection with the examinations. Board of Intermediate Education Regional Educational Officer I Sharada supervised the examinations.
