Amaravati: The private hospitals will be conducting national-wide bandh on Thursday as a protest against the introduction of the National Medical Council Bill in Parliament.

The Indian Medical Council has given a bandh call for 12 hours across the country over opposing the bill. In this context, the medical services will be stopped in the private hospitals from morning 6 am to evening 6 pm.

Except for emergency services, all other medical services will be stopped. The band is supported by IMA Telugu state committees, junior doctors and private hospitals. With this, the medical services will cause disruption in two Telugu states. The government is making alternative arrangements of medical services over the bandh call.
