Pothula Suneetha welcomes Karanam Balaram to YSRCP, says ready to work together
MLC Pothula Suneetha, who recently joined into the YSR Congress Party, has welcomed the joining of MLA Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy into the ruling party.
Chirala: MLC Pothula Suneetha, who recently joined into the YSR Congress Party, has welcomed the joining of MLA Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy into the ruling party. She said that she does not believe in the number game, but announced that she will work in tandem with the MLA in bringing the government's revolutionary programs to the common public and follow the instructions of the party high command.
Speaking to The Hans India on Thursday morning, Suneetha said that she has no personal rivalry with the former MLA and YSRCP leader Amanchi Krishnamohan, but opposed his anti-public decisions. She said that Krishnamohan has built up a negative image in the public due to his actions and that is why he was defeated even in the favorable wave across the state in the last elections.
She said that she joined the YSR Congress after inspiring by the revolutionary schemes and programs along with the implementation of 50 percent reservation for women in the party, nominated posts and local body elections. Suneetha confirmed that the TDP senior leader Karanam Balaram is joining the YSRCP and he is expected to meet the chief minister today or tomorrow. She said that the MLA wants to provide more services to the Chirala public and is joining the ruling party.
Responding to the question of her remaining in the second position in TDP and YSRCP of Chirala politics, she said that she does not believe in the number game. She announced that she is not looking at the politics after four years, but committed to following the instructions of the party high command. She agreed that Balaram, as the MLA would get more priority in the party and public than her, but said that she too has scope for working for the public and build a favorable image in the meantime.
She said that she is wholeheartedly welcoming Balaram into YSRCP and promised to cooperate with him, as she did earlier in the TDP for his winning the Chirala MLA seat, and participate as the MLC and fellow leader in all programs by party and government with him to deliver welfare services to the public.
