Polling stations, strong rooms inspected

Denduluru/Unguturu: Eluru parliamentary constituency general election observer Dev Dutt Sarma has called upon the voters to inform about any violations of election code.He inspected polling stations and strong rooms under Denduluru and Unguturu Assembly constituencies on Friday.

He said people that they can complain to him on his phone No 9490567300. They can also personally meet him to explain about the code violations at Irrigation Guest House in Eluru.During his inspection in Unguturu constituency, he visited Narayanapuram and verified the strong rooms. Later, he visited Pulla and Kurellagudem polling stations and checked facilities provided for the voters. He interacted with local poll staff and enquired about local situation.

Speaking on the occasion, RDO Chakradhar said in 221 polling stations under the constituency, basic facilities, including ramps for differently-abled persons were provided.In Denduluru constitutency, the observer accompanied by RO Ambedkar inspected polling stations at Kovvali, Pothunuru, Dosapadu and Denduluru. Speaking on the occasion, the observer asked the officials to take all steps to ensure facilities for voters. He enquired about the measures taken so far in this direction.
