Railway officials have raised the prices of platform tickets at railway stations in view of the congestion during the Dussehra festival.

Railway officials have raised the prices of platform tickets at railway stations in view of the congestion during the Dussehra festival. The current Platform ticket price has been increased from Rs.10 to Rs.30. The authorities will collect Rs 30 from Saturday to October 10th. South Central Railway has decided to temporarily increase the price of platform tickets at various railway stations because of the Dussehra holiday.

With the festive season, all the corners and railway stations would be overcrowded. "To reduce the crowd on the platform, we are increasing ticket prices." said an official.

The saranavaratri Mahotsavalu will begin on Sunday at Indtakiladri in Krishna District. all the arrangements are going on at brisk pace. CM Jagan will be presenting Silk garments to the goddess on October 5.
