He said that historical events are preserved in photographs. The exhibition was organised by Photogenic Arts Circle to mark the centenary celebration of Dr Bhagawan Das, Former Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh.
Ajeya Kallam after closely watching the black and white photographs taken and developed by Dr Bhagawan Das, said that the photographs serve as objective lessons to the modern lens men. He complimented K Sudhakar Reddy, secretary, Photogenic Arts Circle, for organising the exhibition.
The organisers felicitated Ajeya Kallam and presented the book 'Echos of time a Photographic Journey' consisting of more photographs of Dr Bhagawan Das, compiled by K Sudhakar Reddy.
A Laxmi Kumari, CEO, AP State Creativity and Cultural Commission, Dr Indla Rama Subbareddy, renowned physiatrist, Dr E SivanagiReddy, CEO, Cultural Centre of Vijayawada & Amaravati, and Golla Narayana Rao spoke on the occasion, T Sitarami Reddy welcomed the gathering and B Srimannarayana proposed a vote of thanks.
