People never forget Gurram Jashuva in Guntur

Guntur: PDF Floor Leader in the State Legislative Council V Bala Subrahmanyam said that Jnanpith Award recipient Gurram Jashuva questioned about untouchability and inequalities through his writings.
Addressing a meeting held at Sri Venkateswara Vignana Mandiram in the city on Friday under the aegis of Jashuva Vignan Kendram and Prajanatya Mandali on the occasion of 124 birth anniversary celebrations of Gurram Jashuva, he said that people will never forget the writings of Jashuva. He said Jashuva was felicitated more times after Tirupati Venkata Kavulu. He recalled that Jashuva was always worried though people respected his writings.
Later, he presented Gurram Jashuva Award to writer director, actor Patibandla Ananda Rao and felicitated him. MLC K S Lakshmana Rao, Dr Kakani Sudhakar, Dr M Vijaya Sri and Gurram Jashuva Vignan Kendram secretary N Kalidas were present.
