Ongole: CPM Central Committee member V Srinivasa Rao announced that socialism is the only solution to the existing crisis in the system. He participated as the chief guest to the memorial meeting of the Pamidi Kotaiah, who worked as the first secretary of Prakasam district CPM unit, on Sunday.
Srinivasa Rao said that they cannot see Kotaiah and CPM as different souls and the party cannot forget how he expanded the CPM ideology in the district. He remembered Kotaiah as the man who strengthened the farmers and agriculture labor agitations and brought students and youth into the movement and thus expanding the party.
He alleged that the Modi government is trying to privatize the PUCs and forcing the economy into crisis. The CPM state committee members Y Venkateswara Rao, Ramadevi, Jala Anjaiah, Y Siddhaiah, CPI state committee members Ravula Anjaiah, CPI-ML state leaders Swami, Kongara Narasimham, CPM East Prakasam district secretary Punati Anjaneyulu remembered the services of Kotaiah and said that he lived the life of a true communist without getting influenced by the global consumerism.
They said that Kotaiah has given equal respect and opportunities to the women and announced that communism never dies in the country. They called for the unity of the communist parties and continue the fight for the welfare of the public.
Kotaiah's daughter Meena announced that they would work for the realization of her father's aims.
The JVV state leaders Dr. Rangarao, Raitusangham state secretary KVV Prasad, POW state general secretary B Padma, leaders of various organizations and others also participated in the program.
