One held for selling banned tobacco products

Guntur: Amaravati police on Sunday seized 13,100 packets of banned gutkha, khaini during raids. The market value of the banned gutkha and khaini valued at Rs 1,92,100.
According to police, acting on a tip-off, they conducted raids and seized the stocks of banned gutkha and khaini under Amaravati Police Station limits.
They took Lanka Narasimha Rao into custody for possessing banned gutka and khaini. The packets were ready for distribution and sale. Amaravati Police booked a case and investigation is on.
