Tirumala: On the second day of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala on Tuesday morning, the processional deity of Sri Malayappa Swamy was taken out on a celestial ride on Chinna Sesha Vahanam.

As the Lord glided on the five-hooded Serpent King Vasuki with all His divine splendour along the Four Mada streets, the devotees chanted Govinda, Govinda with devotion.

The devotees who witnessed the procession of Lord on Peddasesha Vahanam on first day-night cherished His divine solo presence on Chinna Sesha Vahanam on second day morning.

The Lord appeared with all resplendence holding butter ball in one hand and flute in another hand and blessed His devotees. Bhajan and cultural troupes staging various forms of traditional and devotional dances like Kolatam added more to the spiritual ambience.

Later in the evening, the processional deity Malyappa atop flower decked Hamsa Vahan was taken in a procession enthralling the devotees. Malayappa dressed as Saraswathi, the Goddess of Knowledge, holding Veena, majestically seated on the Vahannams feasted the eves of devotees, who chanted Govinda Govinda in ecstasy adding to religious fervour palpable on the Mada streets.

On the occasion, 14 books brought out by TTD Publications were released by TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy, Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal and Additional Executive Officer A V Dharma Reddy.
