Machilipatnam: The Excise, Flying squad team has seized Rs 17 lakh worth liquor in Krishna district on Saturday.

The officials caught the liquor at Lakshmipuram village in Bantumilli mandal in the district. As the bottles were diverted away from the wine shop supply.

The 2019 elections are nearing in the state, and as the election code is active the police, excise, and flying squad teams are conducting checking throughout the district.
