Kurnool: Two students pursuing Eighth Class at Kovelakuntla Government High school were selected to National Means- cum- Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Scheme for the year 2019-20, said the school headmaster, S Venkatarami Reddy. Speaking to The Hans India on Tuesday, the head master said that, M Narendra Kumar and H Abdul Issac both students of Eighth Class were selected to the NMMS scheme.

He congratulated the students and the teachers that have imparted quality education and training. The headmaster said that these students would get a scholarship of Rs.12,000 a year and would continue for a period of five years. The scholarship amount would be directly deposited into their bank account. Schools teachers, Narayana Reddy, Malleeshwari, Hussain, Syed Shabbir Hussain, Rajaiah, Mallikarjuna and others were present while felicitating the selected students.
