With the initiative of Rajanagaram MLA and Kapu corporation chairman Jakkampudi Raja, Endowments department officials started survey for laying second staircase to the ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

Korukonda: With the initiative of Rajanagaram MLA and Kapu corporation chairman Jakkampudi Raja, Endowments department officials started survey for laying second staircase to the ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

The existing steps is the only way to reach the sacred shrine, the abode of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and the devotees are facing many problems to go and come down from the narrow way.

The devotees have to climb about 700 steps to reach the sacred shrine, which was constructed nearly 900 years ago. With this, it was proposed to construct second way to ease the movement of devotees to the shrine.

Meanwhile, the number of devotees are also increasing to the temple day by day and it is inevitable for second steps way. Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple, Annavaram adopted the temple.
