To take welfare schemes benefits to doorsteps of all eligible beneficiaries, the district administration launched ‘YSR Navasakam’ in the district on Wednesday to identify the real beneficiaries.
Kadapa: To take welfare schemes benefits to doorsteps of all eligible beneficiaries, the district administration launched 'YSR Navasakam' in the district on Wednesday to identify the real beneficiaries. Under the programme, a comprehensive survey would be conducted by village and ward volunteers for 10 days from November 20 to 30 in the district.
Addressing media here on Wednesday, Collector Ch Harikiran said that several state government sponsored schemes like infrastructure facilities, health security, education security, ration cards, YSR Pension Kanuka, YSR Zero per cent interest, Jagananna Ammavadi, Nethanna Nestam and Law Nestam would be covered under the YSR Navasakam.
After completion of survey, he said a draft notification would be published in the interest of people to collect their views and final list would be released on December 20. Later new cards would be distributed from January 1. He said except state and central government employees, rest of all sections of people including sanitary workers are eligible for the schemes. He said the government has relaxed norms related to income, consumption of electricity, lands, own houses including having a four-wheeler to include more sections of people under the education and health schemes. He said under Amma Vodi scheme, about 2.25 lakh, 1.2 lakhs under Jaganna Vidyadeevana, Jaganna Vasathi Deevana, 1,700 Archakas, Imamams and pasters would be benefited in the district. He said Chief Minister is scheduled to lay foundation stone for steel plant in December in the district. Joint Collector Gouthami, JC-2 Siva Reddy, DRO Raghunath and others were present.
