Kadapa: Describing YS Jagan Mohan Reddy regime as golden era for farmers, Deputy Chief Minister Amzath Basha stated that the establishment of YSR Rythu Bharosa Centres (RBC), will bring another Green Revolution in state.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched 10,641 RBCs state-wide online from Amaravati on Saturday. The Deputy Chief Minister launched RBC at Valluru in the presence of Kamalapuram MLA P Ravindranath Reddy and District Collector Ch Harikiran.

Speaking on the occasion, Amzath Basha said that in the previous regime, farmers faced lot of problems to get fertilisers and seeds etc, but the present YSRC government has taken steps to bring all needed material to the door step of farmers.

District Collector Ch. Harikiran has said that 620 RBCs with estimated cost of Rs 130 crores (each cost at Rs 21 lakh) will be constructed soon in the district. He explained to the Chief Minister through video conference that paddy, Bengal gram, Turmeric crops are grown in Valluru mandal. He said that proposals will be sent to the government for construction of barrage at Audinimmayapalle village for the benefit of farmers.

Joint Collector M. Gouthami, Trainee Collector Vikas Marmat, Joint Director of Agriculture Murali Krishna and Horticulture DD Madhu Sudhan Reddy were present.
