Janapada Geyallo Srikrishnudu book launched in Vijayawada
Folk literature is a rich literature as it has spread in several nooks and corners of the country, said Prof K Hemachandra Reddy, chairman, State Higher Education at a meeting organised in connection with a book release in the office of the Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Vijayawada: Folk literature is a rich literature as it has spread in several nooks and corners of the country, said Prof K Hemachandra Reddy, chairman, State Higher Education at a meeting organised in connection with a book release in the office of the Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. A book titled 'Janapada Geyallo Srikrishnudu' written by Prof Peta Srinivasulu Reddy was released at the function.
Reddy also said it is our prime duty was to safeguard the treasure of folk literature. Hemachandra Reddy felt that the language, culture and dialogue are clear as their hearts. He also appreciated the works of the author Prof Reddy for his works on literature.
Speaking on the occasion, the book writer Srinivasulu Reddy said that people of Chittoor and surroundings have much affinity with Lord Venkateshwara and the people render folk songs even while working.
Dr Kappagantu Ramakrishna reviewed the book. The publisher D Raghavendra Rao was also present at the meeting.
