: Educational Minister Adimulapu Suresh has announced the Board of Intermediate Education advance supplementary results of 1st and 2nd years here on Thursday.

Vijayawada: Educational Minister Adimulapu Suresh has announced the Board of Intermediate Education advance supplementary results of 1st and 2nd years here on Thursday. As many as 2,25,781 students have passed the First year general Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations out of 3,33,571 students appeared. Similarly, 7,021 students have passed in the vocational examination out of 12,454 students appeared.

On this occasion, the Minister said that 1,72,756 students have appeared for the improvement (betterment) examination and all of them have passed. In the non-improvement category i.e failed candidates, in the Intermediate 1st year examinations 1,60,815 students appeared and out of them 53,025 students have passed.

With this advanced supplementary examination, a total number of 3,39,957 students have passed the 1st year examination marking 71% of pass percentage. In the vocational category, a total of 2,00,46 with 65 per cent have passed the exam.

In the Second year General Advanced supplementary public examination, 66,114 students have passed and the total pass percentage is 87 along with the earlier passed students in March with a total number of 3,75,835 out of the total of 4,31,739 students appeared.

In the second year vocational a total number of 21,717 students have passed out of the 26,655 students appeared making it 81 pass percentage. On the occasion Minister Adimulapu Suresh appreciated the Board for releasing the results within 21 days after conducting the examinations. Intermediate Board Secretary, B UdayaLakshmi and others were present.
