As part of month-long Hindi celebrations, the Visakhapatnam Port Trust organised an Hindi exhibition on Thursday, where all the departments of VPT arranged stalls propagating Hindi implementation.

Visakhapatnam: As part of month-long Hindi celebrations, the Visakhapatnam Port Trust organised an Hindi exhibition on Thursday, where all the departments of VPT arranged stalls propagating Hindi implementation.

VPT Chairman Rinkesh Roy inaugurated the exhibition and went around the stalls arranged by various departments. The Chairman reiterated that Hindi language is being used all over the world and Indians should be proud of the language. VPT secretary Harichandran, A K Mehara, R N Hari Kirshna, S Siva Kumar, Usha Devi and P Surya Kala were present.

Earlier, the VPT Chairman took part in the Swachha Pakhwada programme and administered cleanliness oath to the port schoolchildren and the residents of port quarters. Later, the medical department officials took part in cleaning of debris accumulated in the drains. Later, Rinkesh Roy inaugurated the modernised main entrance twin gates of the administrative office building.
