Tuni/Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the loans relating to Housing Corporation will be waived for the benefit of people who took loans for constructing their houses. Addressing a public meeting as part of electioneering in Tuni on Sunday, he said many people are not in a position to repay the loans to the corporation. The government is ready to provide relief from repayment to beneficiaries as the TDP government is people's government, he said.
He said coverage under Chandranna Bima scheme will be increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. The assistance under NTR Vaidya Seva scheme has been doubled from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.Naidu said the TDP government is committed to the welfare of farmers and it has introduced many schemes for their welfare. He assured DWCRA women that he would continue the Pasupu Kumkuma scheme and provide the benefit thrice in five years.
The Chief Minister alleged that there is collusion between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and they were creating obstacles to the development of Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu wondered how Jagan could join hands with KCR who had humiliated people of AP on several occasions. The TDP supremo came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for depriving the State of benefits from AP Reorganisation Act-2014. Naidu wondered how Modi could visit Andhra Pradesh without fulfilling promises made to people of the State. He alleged that Modi is chowkidar to criminals and corrupt in the country and not to honest people.
The Prime Minister had diluted all Constitutional bodies in the country to protect his selfish interests. Naidu said the Prime Minister was hatching a plot to defeat the TDP and put a "puppet" Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in the Chief Minister's chair.
He said the people of the State will not remain as mere spectators if any injustice is done to the State. He called upon people to ensure TDP's victory in the ensuing polls as it is a historical need and it is essential for the progress of the State.
Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, party's Kakinada MP candidate C Sunil, MLA candidates V Raja, Jyothula Nehru, VV Rao, PA Lakshmi and others were present.
Taking part in a road show at Payakaraopeta in Srikakulam district, the Chief Minister lambasted TS Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and TRS working president K T Rama Rao for spreading false propaganda on the Federal Front. Naidu said no such Federal Front existed in the country.
"They are also claiming that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would join the Front. Mamata had already joined the anti-BJP alliance and the TRS working president is making a false claim," Naidu pointed out.
Reiterating that there is collusion between BJP, TRS and YSRCP, Naidu said the three parties were trying to create confusion among people.Pointing out that 31 cases were booked against YSRCP chief Y S Jagan, Naidu said he was feeling ashamed to compete with such a party. Stating that the ensuing elections were crucial to Andhra Pradesh, he called upon people to elect TDP candidates with big majority to ensure progress of the State and welfare of its people.
