The Vigilance and Enforcement officials on Wednesday conducted raids and seized banned gutkha packets worth Rs 5.5 lakh. They raided Kode Lakshminarayana house in Dammapalapadu and seized gutkha packed in the gunny bags.

Guntur: The Vigilance and Enforcement officials on Wednesday conducted raids and seized banned gutkha packets worth Rs 5.5 lakh. They raided Kode Lakshminarayana house in Dammapalapadu and seized gutkha packed in the gunny bags.

They seized 55,000 gutka packets. Market value of gutka packets was estimated at Rs 5.5 lakh. They booked criminal case against Lakshminarayana. Investigation is on.
