Guntur: YSRCP leader Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad says budget benefits poor, weaker sections a lot

Guntur: Former MLC and YSRCP leader Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad hailed the Budget and termed it as a poor man budget.

He said Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave top priority for welfare schemes and allotted more funds for implementing Navaratnas.

He said the welfare schemes will benefit the poor and reduce the poverty. He remembered that the government had extended financial assistance to poor people to improve their standard of living. He said in spite of outbreak of Covid-19, the government is implementing welfare schemes.
