Guntur: Rural police chief inspects Disha Police Station

Guntur: Rural SP Ch Vijaya Rao on Thursday visited Disha Police Station to be opened in Narasaraopet soon and reviewed arrangements.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the aim of the government is to extend helping hand to the women facing threat and women in danger.

He recalled that the government has decided to set up Disha Police Stations to take stern action against the accused in the atrocities and rape cases. He said any women may ask help of the police department in Disha Police Station and directed the police officials to respond and extend necessary cooperation and support.

He warned the erring officials of taking disciplinary action, if they tarnish the image of the department.

He instructed the women cops to work with dedication.
