Guntur: Several Telugu Yuvatha leaders staged a protest at the Employment Exchange at Gujjanagundla here on Wednesday, to mount pressure on the State government to revive Chief Minister Yuvanestam Scheme.

Telugu Yuvatha leaders recalled that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured that he will give pension to the persons above 45 years. They criticised that after coming to power, he cancelled doles to the unemployed under the 'Chief Minister's Yuva Nestam' Scheme.

Addressing the gathering, Telugu Yuvatha district general secretary Ravipati Sai Krishna urged the State government to revive dole to the unemployed.

Telugu Yuvatha district president Eede Murali felt that it is not correct to cancel dole to the unemployed. Later, they raised slogans against the YSRCP government.
