Grama Sachivalayam Special: Here Are the Departments That Would Resolve The Issues Within 72 Hours

The village Swarajya, the dream of the Mahatma Gandhi, is being practised today in AP. The long-standing demand for governance from villages is going to be met in AP. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the village secretariat system today in East Godavari. 11,158 village secretariates and 3,786 ward members across the state will be available to the public from today.

The state government has completed the process of recruiting 1,34,918 lakh employees in a single phase. There are allegations on the conduction of exams, but they remain untrue. The need to move around the offices for pensions, ration cards, birth, death, residency and cast certificates is no more. Corruption and irregularities in welfare schemes would be abolished.

Officers have categorized the grama sachivalayam into three categories, namely, the services rendered to the public through village and ward secretariates. 47 works of various departments can be resolved in just 15 minutes. The single department can provide 148 types of services like pension, ration card, healthcare card within 72 hours of after application, while another section provides 311 services within 72 hours.

There are branches of Agriculture (Animal Husbandry 6, Citizenship 1, Home Branch 6, Municipal Department 8, Panchayati Raj 6, Revenue 2 and Welfare Departments) where works are done in 72 hours. The 26 services in Agriculture, 1 in Livestock 1, 1 in Housing, 8 in Citizenship, 12 in Electricity, 8 in Home Department, 9 in Labor and Employment Sector, 15 Municipal Department, 6 Panchayati Raj, 2 Stamps Registration, 16 Revenue, 25 Welfare in departments are resolved in 72 hours. There are also services provided after 72 hours, such as Agriculture, Livestock, Housing, Citizenship.
