Speaking as part of her birthday celebrations organised here by the party leaders and workers led by Vamsi Krishna Srinivas Yadav, she assured people-oriented and able-governance was possible only with Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who is keen on following the footsteps of his father YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Later, she celebrated her birthday at Prema Samajam, an old age home in the city. She cut the cake in the presence of children and senior citizens at the home and shared her joy and compassion, distributing a piece of cake to them.

She went emotional when she said that the elderly women at the premises reminded her of her mother who recently passed away. She also distributed fruits, clothes and blankets to elders and schoolbags and books to kids. She assured support for development of home and announced a contribution of Rs 50,000 to the home. Later, she interacted with the inmates personally. Araku MLA Chetti Phalguna, among others attended.

Later, the Deputy Chief Minister also visited Andhra University and Government Residential School for Visually-Challenged Girls at Sagar Nagar and interacted with the girls and assured to provide support to the school.
