Former Chittoor MP, TDP senior leader Siva Prasad who is suffering from Kidney ailment died a Saturday afternoon at Apollo hospital in Chennai. The deceased who admitted in Chennai Apollo hospital on Thursday declared dead by the doctors. Siva Prasad 68 was born on January 11, 1951, at Putipalli is survived with wife and two daughters.

Siva prasad completed his MBBS from Tirupati medical college and started his career as a doctor for some time and later he tested his fate as an actor in the Telugu film industry. He acted in more than 30 films and won the Nandi award for the film Danger in best villain category. then he entered into politics upon the call given by Chandrababu Naidu.

As Shiv Prasad who belongs to Chittoor district has a strong bonding with Chandrababu Naidu, which led him to join the TDP in 1995. He won the 1999 elections as an MLA and served as Minister of Information in Chandrababu Naidu cabinet. He won Parliament elections for the two consecutive terms in 2009 and 2014 and protest against the Separate Telangana state in hi trademark witty cinematic style. he also staged dharna at parliament with different mannerism in support to special category state. However, the former minister was lost to YSRCP in 2019 elections and now he left the world leaving TDP supporters with heavy hearts
