Vijayawada: FIITJEE Vijayawada director P Ramesh Babu on Thursday said that it was a proud moment to inform that E Sivarahul of FIITJEE secured admission in the prestigious University of Rochester, (USA) with a scholarship of Rs 1.5 crore.

Addressing the media persons, the director said that it would take five to six years to get admission in top notch universities in the US with such a huge scholarship. However, Sivarahul had done it in just two years.

He said that after bifurcation of the state, FIITJEE Vijayawada stands tall with its proper academic planning and teaching by the best faculty members. He recalled that the institute had secured 5th rank in IIT, All India (open category) which was also the 1st rank in South India.

He said that out of 540 students, 370 students got eligibility in JEE Mains Open category and 143 students got eligibility in IIT Advanced, he said and added that this was possible with a four level programme introduced by them. On October 20, they will be conducting BigBang Edge Test for admission into the four level programme, said the director.
